Community Outreach Coordinator Assistant

Job Description

This position is one that focuses on research and administrative duties.  The ideal candidate is bilingual (English and Spanish), will have strong knowledge of Word and Excel microcomputer applications, and able to work independently on assignments.  The candidate may be required to make oral presentations before small groups and attend evening meetings.  Reliable transportation is required.

Job Duties

  • Investigate potential tour sites, available tour dates, obtain the requirements and present information to the CPSTS Board
  • Establish Tour Agenda.
  • Create Tour Site Flyers (English and Spanish), adjust permission slips to reflect tour site, tour date with deadline and lunch site
  • Distribute and collect Survey Sheets at the end of tour
  • Prepare and send thank you email to Tour Host.
  • Attend monthly Board Meetings
  • Attend external meetings with community, elected officials, or agencies with Board Members, take notes and prepare and distribute meeting minutes.
